About the Job
Our office is looking for a full-time optician to professionally and diligently care for patients and their eyewear needs. The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and attitude and will love to learn new things. Also, be willing to provide customer service that is over and above what is expected. No Experience required! The candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, and be a good team player. Office hours are M, T, W, T 8am-5pm. F 8am-1pm.
Standard Office Responsibilities:
- Greet and help patients who come into the optical.
- Help patients choose frames and lenses.
- Educate patients on different lens types.
- Order glasses from vendors.
- Bill insurance for eyewear claims.
- Adjust, repair, fit, and clean patient's eyewear.
